More Staff Member Privileges and Privilege Templates

What We Have Planned

We plan to expand the number of staff member privileges to give an even finer level of control over who can do what in the system.
We also plan to add a privileges template feature that will allow you to define privilege templates that can be assigned to one or more users for a much quicker way to assign privileges.

We are still working on requirements for this feature. Please let us know what functions you would need this feature to provide.

Our school would benefit from four tiers of member privileges instead of three: teacher, office, administration, and owner. Adding the following privileges to the current ones that can be enabled/ disabled as needed for individual staff members would be great!

Teachers:

The privilege to record master list attendance without having administration-level access
A privilege that allows the teacher to lock his/her gradebook from other staff members except for the owner and privileged administration members
The privilege to temporarily unlock the overall grades for designated grading periods so that privileged office members may print progress reports and report cards

Office:

The privilege to record master list attendance without having administration-level access
The privilege to print progress reports and report cards of the overall grading-period grades after each teacher has unlocked them (without having access to entire gradebooks and assignments.)
The privileges necessary for general set up

Administration:

Privilege to access a teacher’s entire gradebook
Privilege to lock/ unlock a particular teacher’s gradebook for other privileged staff members
