Enhanced Student / Guardian Profile Fields

This is a Free and Enterprise feature

What's Currently Available 

Currently student and guardians have a default set of profile fields and an unlimited number of custom fields can be created.

What We Have Planned

Default and custom fields will be given a set of options defining how a specific field should be treated:

• Confidential - Only staff members with the privilege to view confidential data will be able to see this field.
• Required - Fields flagged as required will require a value.  Warnings would be generated on student profiles missing required fields.
• Shareable - Fields flagged as shareable will be visible to students and parents in their portal.
• Modifiable - Fields flagged as modifiable will be able to be modified by students and/or parents in their portals.

Fields could also be specified to store different types of information:

• Single line of text
• Multi-line text
• Single value selected from a fixed list of values.
• Multiple values selected from a fixed list of values.
• List of manually entered values
