What's Currently Available
We currently have a beta version of our lesson planner available to teachers, but it is very limited. It allows the creation of lesson templates and the generation of lesson plans from those templates.

What We're Working On
We have collected feedback from our customers and will releasing a much more usable version of the Lesson Planner incorporating many of the requested improvements.

Updates would include:

Ability to print lesson plans.
Ability to share lesson plans on the portals.
Add attachments to lesson plans.
Linking lesson plans to assignments
Adding new sections to existing lesson plans
Delete sections from lesson plans.
Generate multiple lesson plans at once from template for specified dates.
Manipulate dates of lesson plans easily.
Reorder sections using drag and drop
Copy lesson plans to other classes
Share lesson plans with other teachers (Enterprise only)
Alternative views for lesson plans.

I would love to see the ability to copy forward lesson plans from a previous year and offset by date. This would make teaching the same class multiple years in a row a much easier process.

We will definitely add an option to share lesson plans or not.

Will lesson plans be available for parents to see? I would prefer they remain private beyond school admin or teacher groups. Some parents would go crazy if we skipped one portion and moved it another day, or just eliminated it because of time, thus privacy is necessary.

Thank you for replying, however, I don't not have access to the Lesson Planning feature. Upon clicking onto it, it says that the feature isn't available yet.

You should already be able to embed pictures using the image button in the editor as show below.

I would love to see the capability to embed pictures into the LP's as opposed to just adding an attachment that has to be opened to view. If science teachers create a lab/project that students are to duplicate, I would like to be able to quickly see it as a principle.
The ability to email the LP's to a substitute that is not a teacher within the enterprise. We do not add school district substitutes as users to our system. I am looking for quick and direct email capability.
Sections that include the time, i.e. Circle Time : 9:35am-9:50am
An option to have the manager sign off.
An option for the manager to be alerted when a lesson is completed and ready for approval.
